Accessories for Graco Ultra Quickshot

When you buy a Graco Ultra Quickshot, the question arises as to which accessories you need to get the most out of your Quickshot for the long term. In the following article, we have summarised the most important accessories, the most necessary cleaning and maintenance products and the most common spare parts.

 

Cleaning and maintenance of the Graco Quickshot

The Quickshot can be cleaned with water or a solvent (here is a video on cleaning). After cleaning, the sprayer must be preserved. Graco‘s Pump Armor conservation product is available for this purpose. Pump Armor is poured into the sprayer and remains there until the next time it is used. This protects the Quickshot from corrosion and makes it ready for the next use.

To preserve the nozzles and protect them from paint adhesion and sticking to the nozzle channel, a special nozzle cleaner can be used. Here’s an example of how to use nozzle cleaner in our article.

3. Brushes for cleaning the Graco Quickshot

Remains of lacquers and varnishes are best removed directly after use with water or a suitable solvent and brushes. With this brush set, cleaning can be carried out quickly and cleanly, so that the spray unit is clean and ready to work on the next project.

More nozzles, more flexibility of use

The Graco Quickshot is supplied with a size 410 FF LP nozzle and a size 514 FF LP nozzle. The 410 nozzle can be used with many lacquers to spray doors. The 514 nozzle is suitable for slightly thicker paint finishes and some varnishes. If thinner lacquers or glazes are to be sprayed, smaller nozzles with narrower boreholes are recommended. To paint small items such as skirting boards or railings with the Graco Quickshot, use nozzles with a narrower spray pattern. Here are a few examples:

• Graco FF LP nozzle in size 108 (jet width 10 degrees/approx. 5 cm, bore 0.008″ for fine products, suitable for skirting boards, banisters, tubes)
• Graco FF LP nozzle in size 208 (jet width 20 degrees/approx. 10 cm, bore 0.008″ for fine products, suitable for window frames, skirting boards, window sills)
• Graco FF LP nozzle in size 310 (jet width 30 degrees/approx. 15 cm, hole 0.010″ for lacquer, suitable for door frames)

Nozzle seals for solvents

A nozzle gasket for acrylic and solvent base is always supplied by Graco with the purchase of each nozzle. However, depending on the application and the user, having a small box of extra gaskets for solvents can be a lifesaver on some jobs.

 

Replacement filters for Graco Quickshot

The Quickshot is supplied with a fine #100 mesh blue sieve and a coarser #60 mesh black sieve. If the sieve becomes clogged or damaged, it must be replaced to continue working. It is therefore advisable to keep a spare pack in stock to avoid work interruptions.
