Wagner Heavycoat filters

A main filter housing is located at the material outlet of Wagner Heavycoat airless pumps. A filter cartridge is installed here: the purpose of this filter is to capture impurities and dirt to prevent the nozzle from being blocked or damaged.

The filter also acts as a non-return valve. Inside the filter is a steel ball that prevents paint or coating from flowing back from the hose into the pump.

This is a special feature found only on this filter system.

This filter is mainly installed on Wagner Heavycoat spraying equipment. But it is also used on certain Titan PowrTwin, Wagner Linecoat and Titan PowrLiner marking equipment.

When should I change the primary filter on my Wagner Heavycoat pump?

The filter cartridge should be checked and cleaned after use. If the filter can no longer be cleaned, or if the dirt is too heavy, the filter must be replaced.

A damaged filter should also be replaced with a new one. The filter should also be replaced if the ball is stuck in the filter or can no longer move freely. In the event of heavy wear, the ball will fall out of the filter.
