When is it worth using the plaster and roller kit (80506)?

In this video, Cédric explains and shows you how to apply joint strips using a spatula and how to coat a wall using a nylon roller designed for this type of application by hand. Airless spraying is sometimes too complicated for a single wall or a small room to be coated. The ideal solution is to apply by hand using powerful, lightweight tools such as those from L’Outil Parfait.  They’re not as bulky as an Airless sprayer, and take less time to clean up.

What does the plaster and roller kit (80506) contain?

The kit known to Cedric / Make in France contains :

  • four Parfaitliss blades of different lengths (10cm, 25cm, 45cm, 60cm)
  • two rolls for plaster in different sizes (80mm, 220mm)
  • one Parfaitliss telescopic pole (2x 0.50m)
  • a Clip-System conical telescopic pole for rolls of plaster (2x 0.70m)
  • Professional-quality carrying case.

What materials does Cédric use?

Cédric uses a Toupret coating for joint strips as a material to lay the strips. L’Outil Parfait also offers a kit of hand spatulas (ALU CHOC – 2433000).

Then he applies the Toupret Magic’ plaster using a nylon roller, which you can also find in the Perfect Tool for Plasters and Rollers kit – 80506.

After this application, it is now possible to work again with the blade and even out any imperfections. The walls can then be smoothed out little by little.

When smoothing, however, avoid leaving too much material residue on the blades.

Finally, Cédric finishes off with the sanding. This is necessary to obtain an impeccably smooth surface. Don’t forget to clean off any dust on the wall before painting or priming. This is important to maintain good adhesion and avoid imperfections.
