Wagner Hopper and Top Tank for Airless Paint Sprayers

Hoppers and tops tanks are particularly useful when it comes to process smaller amounts of paint, efficiently and without waste. The amount of material can be metered so well and the material passes from the hopper directly,without a long path into the sprayer. Funnels, hoppers and top tanks are available for most Wagner Airless paint sprayers. In the following article we give an overview of the available funnel and top tank systems of the manufacturer Wagner.

For which Wagner paint sprayers are top tanks and hoppers available?

For a majority of the paint spraying systems from the Wagner range, funnels with a capacity of 5 liters are available. Most sprayers designed to process paints and small amounts of material are already supplied by the manufacturer with a 5-liter hopper. Here an overview for which Wagner spraying equipment upper containers can be used:

• all SF SuperFinish models (eg SF 23 Plus, SF 27, SF 31, SF 33)
• all finish models (eg Finish 230, 250, 270 as well as older devices like Finish 200, 207, 211, 300, 400 & 500)
• ProSpray models on frame (from PS 3.20 to PS 3.25)
• Air-operated piston pumps (eg Cobra, Wildcat, Puma, Leopard, Jaguar)

Sieves & filters for Wagner funnels

Wagner top tanks are equipped with a sieve to filter impurities from the paint. This also prevents foreign objects, dried paint residues or impurities from being sucked into the airless device. Again and again a cause of damage and damage to paint spraying equipment.

The sieve in the upper container can be easily cleaned. If it can not be cleaned or damaged, it should be replaced. Depending on the spray material used, a fine or coarse sieve can be used.

Airless Tip: In addition to the 5 liter upper container, it is recommended to use a short hose of 7.5 m length to process small amounts of paint or paint. Wagner also manages these short tubes with a smaller inner diameter of 3 mm and 4 mm. The advantage: Very little material is needed to fill the sprayer and the hose and less paint or paint is wasted.
