Our Airless Discounter tapes are not only used on walls and ceilings, but in this case they are also used for masking the floor. One of our customers made a floor marking in an industrial hall.
In order to achieve very sharp edges, he covered the areas to be marked with tape beforehand. As a large quantity of adhesive tape was required here, the customer was looking for a low-cost but high-quality alternative and tested our Airless Discounter Gold tape and our latest insulating tape.

Airless Discounter Gold Tape
Traditionally, tape is used mainly for marking halls, as a strong adhesive tape is required. The tape is unrolled to a length of 50 m and then stretched to create straight lines that can then be marked.
In addition to the insulating tape, our Airless Discounter Gold tape was also used for this project. For floor marking, however, it is only suitable for smooth surfaces such as smooth concrete, plastered floors or parquet, for example in sports halls.
Airless Discounter Gold Tape
The yellow tape is what is known as washi tape, which is impregnated rice paper reinforced with fibres. This combination is particularly thin but tear-resistant and allows for very sharp edges. The yellow tape is mainly used by painters to mark out areas of different colours with sharp edges and to prevent paint from running behind the tape. The 50 mm wide tape is suitable for floor marking. But narrower rolls of 19 mm, 25 mm, 30 mm and 38 mm are also available:

Insulating adhesive tapes Airless Discounter
This type of tape is typically used for hall and floor marking, as it is very strong and tear resistant. It can be stretched to its full length (50 m) and tensioned to hide straight lines.
We offer a standard insulating tape with a mesh fabric reinforcement #27, thickness 150 µm, and also an even stronger insulating tape with a mesh fabric reinforcement #50, thickness 210 µm.
